'How to get your FULL bond back' cleaning guide for tenants

So, you are about to move out. It is
relatively easy to get your FULL bond
back, however you do need a plan and
you do need to allow enough time to get
the job done.

Allow at least 10 days if you are going to
do some of the work yourself. Of course
you can reduce this time and your personal
effort dramatically if you decide to engage
a professional cleaner to do all or even
some of the cleaning tasks like carpet
cleaning, window cleaning inside and out
and oven cleaning.

You may not believe this, but the landlord
is anxious to return your bond. Why?
Because this will mean that the property
will be available for re-rental immediately.
Also the landlord will be more than pleased
that he will not have to organise the
cleaning and delay the process of re-rental.

Important: If you are going to take on the
job of packing and moving the household
items yourself, make sure you allow
sufficient time. Don’t leave the packing
until the last minute. Well prior to the last
10 days, start packing a few boxes each day,
commencing with items that are not used
on a daily basis. Make sure you label each
box carefully… this will make unpacking
a lot less stressful.
